Ah the trend of bullshit stories by leftist authors using erroneous sources (or in this case, like a few times before, a single source) that have serious negative consequences continues. This time it cost lives... what a piss off. Hooray By the way how do you flush a Koran. Is that even physically possible? hehe

Newsweek's mea culpa came a lot quicker than CBS/Dan Rather's over Memo-gate. I'm guessing that it's for two reasons: 1) because of the brouhaha over CBS' apparent intransigence (Newsweek wouldn't want to go through that), and 2) because people actually died. If CBS had never aired the report about that "memo", and if the protest over the alleged "flushing of the Koran" hadn't been so violent I doubt that Newsweek would have apologized for reporting it.
