Considering that I found the Fates Warning user.net group way back in 1996 in anticipation of APSOG, when I was a mere 19 years old, I would say that I have come quite a long way, Fates family still intact (though somewhat diminished from the "orange board days")
30 is not the death knell that everyone says it is, either, for those of you anticipating it. For me personally, I'm just glad I actually made it to 30. Growing up, I always thought I would be dead at 29 for some reason. haha.
So be thankful that your health is still intact and you can wake up each morning with a 10 CD + catalog of Fates songs to listen to. Under the aformentioned circumstances, life could not possibly be better
Until next time

I have a year and just over 14 days to approach that. I'm a bit scared, but then not completely.

Well happy birthday to both of you! And you're right, this is definitely a neat community here at the Fates board.

You'll never catch up to me. You'll follow in my wake; you'll enjoy the little things thirty and the years to come have to offer; but you'll never catch me.
Just thinkāI'll be saying goodbye to 35 in a few short months. What keeps me young? How about a gf almost ten years my junior. Now that's the fountain of youth!
Happy birthday to you, my brotha. I hope all is well.

Well, happy 30th's to everyone...here already or impending. I'm only 3 years from the next milestone, the big 40..... So now we need the resident 'old men' to chime in on what we can expect during that part of life..... Brett, Marv....any thoughts?

Why thank you, Mr. Orth. I was just briefly in Philly the other day with my girlfriend on a living foods cuisine tour of the Northeast. We stopped in Lansdale at Arnold's Way Cafe. Highly amusing time!!
as you were
