www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18178194/site/newsweek/There is beauty in the colors of the sky during a sunset There is beauty in the many colors that make up a Tropical Island. There is beauty in the many colors of a rainbow There is beauty in the colors of the Rainforest. There is beauty in our mixed hair colors There is beauty in our mixed eye colors........ then how can the beauty not be seen in the colors of our multiple skin tones?

I was kinding of hoping it wouldn't come to this. At least as far as I can tell, there doesn't seem like any racial overtones (or any tones) in this tragic event. Just misplaced hostility and a fanatics misplaced sociopathic delusions of vengeance and hostility.

This guy was a nut anyone who projects race into this is an idiot.
Of course interjecting race into anything will always happen as long as Democrats are in office.

Now now, fox... c'mon now. I didn't really see anyone interjecting racial tonalities into the popular discussion. Sometimes, though, it is appropriate, such as the constant cases in NYC in particular, where the police force attempts to justify shooting massive rounds of bullets at unarmed black men in Harlem. That crosses partisan lines, of course, and I don't recall any democrats OR republicans making the VATech tragedy into a racial genocide?

The racism card is an easy one to pull almost anywhere, but I agree that it is legitimate in some cases, as Scott said. However, from what I've read, this was not the case with Cho. He hated wealthy, apathetic, and as well as Christians and I think religious people in general. I found this on Yahoo news: www.sptimesrussia.com/index.php?action_id=2&story_id=21398“Your Mercedes wasn’t enough, you brats,” says Cho, a South Korean immigrant whose parents work at a dry cleaners in suburban Washington. “Your golden necklaces weren’t enough, you snobs. Your trust funds wasn’t enough. Your vodka and cognac wasn’t enough. All your debaucheries weren’t enough. Those weren’t enough to fulfill your hedonistic needs. You had everything.”
Dang, that poor kid was so messed up in the head. I have no idea how anything would drive someone to do what he did.

Does it matter that he was South Korean?
Any answer more than very, very little is wrong.

I agree with you Fox, in this case It doesn't matter at all, and for once, I don't see much of an issue or the race card being played on this one.

Man, oh man, I should have made that general statement in another thread and not in combo with this tradegy. Yeah, race is not an issue here. I was just thinking about a lot of things when I read that page. You know when thoughts lead off into other tangents.......
