Saw this last night, it was a good show.
Down opened, Phil seemed more sober than normal, but he still threw out a hundred F bombs or so and called us all pussies, and talked about getting stoned. They played "Lifer" (dedicated to Dimebag and Piggy)., "Hail to the Leaf", "Bury Me in Smoke" and 3 or 4 other songs. About 40 min. total. The sound was a bit bass heavy, but not too bad.
Megadeth ripped through their set, barely stopping between songs, opening with a new one "Sleepwalker" I was told. Then "Wake up Dead", "Skin O My Teeth", "A Tout Le Monde", "Hangar 18", "Symphony of Destruction", "She Wolf", "Peace Sells", "Washington is Next" (another new one), closed with "Holy Wars". Crowd was really into it for a few of the songs. Sound was a bit tinny, not much bass, every seemed fast which worked better on some songs than others. Played 45-50 minutes.
Sabbath was next opening with that instrumental on Mob Rules into "After All" then "Mob Rules" I think. They also played "I", "Computer God", "Sign of the Southern Cross", "Children of the Sea", "Voodoo", "Lady Evil", 2 new songs "The Devil Cried" and "Shadow of the Wind", that latter of which I thought was better. "Falling off the Edge of the World", "Die Young", "heaven and Hell" with "Neon Knights" as the encore. Dio's voice sounded great of course. There was also a not too long drum solo which was decent.

So I just saw Megadeth & Black Sabbath! They both kicked! I wish Megadeth played a longer set, though. Machine Head opened. They sucked. It would've been far better if they were off the bill and Megadeth got to play longer. But I'm not really complaining - The show was incredible. I'll remember this for a long time.

Anyone know if they are playing "lonely is the word"? Its one of my favorite Sabbath songs of all time.

I've heard they've been doing that one at Some shows, they did not play it when I saw them.

I heard Ear in the Wall yesterday. The magic is back and Dio hasn´t sounded as relevant since 1993... Strange highways. A killer cd. Angry Machines is also good. I was lucky to see him live 1998 (before he became fan-pleasing). The man was like an evil elf, and that guitarist is way underrated..
Jesus, if only Ronnie could record an entire album with Iommi, he´s been wasting his talent for too long now. It´s sucha shame, i find it almost criminal. Why staying alive if you´re not trying your hardest?
