Just saw Fates last night in CT at The Webster.
I just registered to say that it was fucking incredible, especially being right up against the stage. Best show I've ever seen. Parallels was never my favorite Fates album, yet the performance was so great that I'm currently revisiting it - simply astounding. I regret that there was nothing off of Guardian or Spectre, but the setlist was still awesome, especially One and Quietus.
Certainly was worth waiting in the heat through all the openers (actually, one or two of them were pretty good). Superb performance.
Edit: This was the setlist, in case anyone is wondering:
Parallels (entire album) Pale Fire Face the Fear Nothing Left to Say Monument ----------------- One A Pleasant Shade of Gray III Another Perfect Day Quietus Through Different Eyes

Thanks. I know John Arch WAS there, but didn't get on stage. Arch was there? Holy shit, I had no idea. I was lucky - got there early, was able to get up front right next to the stage before the place filled up.

What an amazing show! I was front row, too and with no a/c in the venue, was sweating my rear off!! Worth every drop of sweat to see them up close!
