Does anyone have a place where tickets can be bought? (a website in English would help)
Does anyone have directions to this venue in Gelsenkirchen? Preferably from Wurzburg.
Any place on the net that I can find lodging/restaurant/Europass information?
Thank you kindly. Email is "ivory_gate@excite.com"

Maybe you should just contact the band since you seem to be following them around, maybe they need some one to haul drum equipment around and to throw peanuts at when they're bored.
Hopefully they won't issue a restraining order, then again is that enforcable in Germany?

Hiya, the official festival website is in German, so I guess that won't help much. You can make ticket reservations though if you want to buy your ticket directly at the box office. Call 0049-231-56201440, I'm sure someone speaks English there since it's the number of the festival crew. Starting from Wurzburg, it's up northwest via Frankfurt - Cologne - Gelsenkirchen "Amphitheater". Shouldn't be too hard to find, the venue is said to be in the centre of Gelsenkirchen. For any further information on lodging etc. in Gelsenkirchen go to www.gelsenkirchen.de/English/tourism/tourist_info/contact.aspThey should be able to answer all of your questions... Good luck!

@jta:
You're welcome! I'm probably going to the show myself, only to see Fates Warning though. Tickets for SUNDAY ONLY cost 38 EUR and they're available under the phone number quoted in my posting above. I was just talking to the guy there and he told me I could make a reservation for Sunday via phone, so that's what I'm going to do asap since they only have a limited number of those "Sunday only" tickets!
Fates is slated for 8 p.m. (20:00). It's been 9 years since I last saw the guys playing live here in Germany, and I just can't wait to see them again! Even though this time there won't be a chance to have a little chat with Ray, I guess... You never get to see the band face to face outside these big festivals, that's why I actually prefer smaller venues. Anyhow, it's just great to have them back in Germany again!
See you in Gelsenkirchen

I saw the show as well but I'm not very good at remembering full setlists, sorry! Maybe you can post all the songs you remember and we'll see about the rest... I'm sure we can put the pieces together.

Thanks for the cool pics, cal! Here's the setlist from the Santa Ana CA show (no idea if it's correct) -> I think they just left out a few songs at the RHF. But they did definitely not play Quietus, sorry! Still remains Another Perfect Day Simple Human APSoG Part III The Eleventh Hour Point of View Monument Through Different Eyes Life in Still Water Nothing Left to Say APSoG Part XI Pieces of Me Heal Me He’s a Woman, She’s a Man Hmm, let's see... They didn't play Another perfect day and Through different eyes, and only the intro solo of Nothing left to say... The very first song they played was One, off the Disconnected album. No guarantee though!
