My history with awaken the guardian...
Jan 1989 (or so) Purchased First copy on cassette. Was totally blown away.
July 1989 (or so) First copy of ATG breaks, second copy on cassette purchased.
August 1993 Purchased first copy of ATG on CD. (Doubled with No Exit in a 2 CD set)
September 1999 Found used CD copy of ATG with original "Enigma Records/Metal Blade" imprint. Purchased for $3.99
So, I guess buying this masterpiece one more time isn't going to hurt anything.

Cool
Demo's usually suck a bit though, but not always.
I hope the live footage is tasty.

Hey, wtf happened w/ the NEW (now old) board?? The only reason I'm posting is that I FINALLY got the re-issue of ATG yesterday. It's very well put together and it's very sweet to have it indeed. And I can't wait 2 see the DVD. Plus, I've never seen Arch perform live so it'll be way kewl!! Anyway, SPECTACULAR job on the remastering fellas. I've only heard the demos & live material so far but it's just amazing...the sound is really good. KICK-ASS...now please tour the States!

Has anyone else noticed their copy of the remaster of ATG having an audio defect during the song "Guardian"? I was listening to it today with headphones and noticed that at exactly 4:58, when John sings the line, "Strong as the fire in my veins", the volume in the left channel seems to fade a little bit for a second or two. Anyone else notice this or is my copy defective?
