I'm curious what everyone's top 5 albums ever are. There may already be a thread about this but I looked through a number of pages and didn't see one. So what's everyone's 5 stuck-on-an-island albums? Here's mine, though it's likely to change:
"Solinari" by Morgion "Diadem of 12 Stars" by Wolves in the Throne Room "Mabool" by Orphaned Land "Dance of Death" by Iron Maiden "Brave New World" by Iron Maiden
Runners up: everything Maiden, Orphaned Land's other two albums, "Cloaked by Ages, Crowned in Earth" by Morgion, all of Redemption's albums, and most anything by Fates Warning of course.

Pink Floyd "Dark side of the moon" (perhaps not so "original") The Church "Starfish" (forgotten masterpiece) Fates Warning Parallels (of course) Rush "Snakes and arrows" (their strongest ever!) OSI`s first album (fascinating weird)

Damn, 5 albums is almost impossible to pick for me. I'll have to think about it, will probably have to do 5 for each category...classic rock, classic metal and current rock/metal. Then maybe 5 out of each for the finals, gonna be tough... #hmm# #doh#

Extremely tought question.. Belinda Carlisle did amazing stuff in the 80´s, and then we have Gorefest, death metal from Holland.

True, Gorefest's cover of Circle in the Sand is a bit too precious
