Just ordered it on-line today, have read some stellar reviews and it sounds pretty unique to me. Has anyone heard this album or anything from these guys/gals? Been listening to stuff from their other albums on their myspace, no luck finding anything from this album to sample though. Their site does have a couple links but I can't get them to work. Anyway, the myspace samples sound cool...from what I've read the album I got is much heavier and they've progressed to an almost completely folk style with little metal on the others. www.myspace.com/lumsk  |

Hell's bells this is a good album! Kicked in about the 3rd and 4th spins, great moshy guitar with all kinds of cool folksy violin, plus some great proggy organ stuff. Like the vocals too, the girl sounds good and the male/choir stuff is cool. Most of it is so friggin' catchy, feel like headbanging, folk dancing and chugging a beer all at once... #cheers# |

OK, I'm gonna relegate this album to 'hidden gem' status...one of the better blind purchases I've ever made. Don't read anymore about them, just get on-line...find a copy and buy it, you won't regret it. That goes for everyone who doesn't have it yet... ;D |
