How many of you out there have subjected yourselves to marathons in which you will listen to a bands' entire discography in a sitting or two?
I did it with Dream Theater; I started on When Dream and Day Unite and listened to all of their 'essentials' (the studio and live albums, I'm missing Live Scenes from New York) until I ended on Score. I have 13 of their releases, so that is a total of 19 discs. The second day, I started at 11:30 in the morning, and stopped listening at 3:30 the next morning, so I could get it all done.
Afterwards, I did my entire Fates Warning collection. That one only took me about a day's worth, as there were only 11 discs (I'm missing a good-sized chunk of their disco, I'm sure).
So, what marathons have you done? How many times have you done them? Have you grown to appreciate CDs with such marathons that you didn't find interest in before?
Dream Theater: 3 times Fates Warning: 1 time

From time to time, I go through a Devil Doll marathon, all 5 albums. That takes a certain amount of concentration and darkness.

I´ve done it, once or twice, with all the bands that matter, QR, FW, Sava, DT.
Recently i also played Paradise Lost for a couple of nights. I got most of their singles, and they have lot´s of excellent bonustracks there. Draconian Times have two singles with tracks that most people will never hear. Too bad, ´cause (like most people already know) Draconian Times is top-ten, perhaps top-five on my list of the best records ever.

Nope. Besides i´m computer illiterate; don´t even have a computer and so on. But i could make a copy of those four songs (and perhaps some other unheard PL-songs) and just send them to you. No problems, no charge, i just have to take the time from school, work and general disorders.
