Does anyone have the new Leatherwolf yet? Ive heard three songs and do like the album so far. However, I didnt want to pay the 23.99 for a Japanese copy off of Ebay... Wade Black's voice has grown on me tremendously. The album has a twinge of old Artillery and CJSS for some reason.....

Don't have the full album yet, picking it up at ProgPower... but I *did* have the opportunity to see them at the Galaxy Theater a couple of months back. GREAT show, and Wade sounded killer. My only gripe would be that he looked like he needed some help with the lyrics on the older material (looked like he was reading some lyric sheets here and there). The cd should be available from US vendors rather soon, if not now. I'll check with Wade about US availability and will post any info about it here. Now... the most incredible thing about the show. You have to picture this. hehehe I'm standing all by my little lonesome, enjoying the show, singing along and all that, when this guy who was standing next to me leans over and asks if I like the band. I, of course, say, "I adore this band!" He then asks what I think of the singer. "He's got some pretty big shoes to fill, but he's doing a great job." Dude says, "Yeah? Wow... I'm the old vocalist." To which I turn and actually look at him, and sho'nuff, it's Michael! Ended up having a rather cool conversation with him, just too damn short.

Wow. A shocker to see Olivieri! Michael is a fantastic vocalist and even on Wide Open he soars even on the older material! He sounds like a cool guy and I hope he enjoys his domestic life. Im jealous you got to see them. I really like the "Burned" demo which featured the singer from Racer X...That song kills. I hope Wade will sing that also because Im sure he will do a just job on it. If you can post a US date of release I will be indebted. You rock Static

Hey Colleen? Any news on whether or not they have released the "World" album here in the states? Other than Ebay at 20.00 a pop I cannot find it. Thanks

Leatherwolf is re-recording the World album with Mike Olivieri the original singer. Cannot wait for that to happen. Just an FYI. They are playing some festivals in Europe.
