it's true, I saw it on the subway walls...
No but seriously, King Diamond and Fates rock! Two of the only bands that are still around that I follow religiously. And the King is touring again in spring!

Richman happens to be a pretty big Stern fan as well, right? Have you ever checked out the Stern BB Rich?
Marv started a cool thread over there called Let's Talk Heavy Metal. Got some good discussion and debate going on.

yea, stern fan, but everytime I've tried to register at the board, something isn't working (like the image with the code to type in doesn't display).
So after a few months or however long it's been, I just gave up.

After all that work and they just shut the damn thing down... Seth

hmm... overall? It's a tie between "Them" and "The Eye". Musically I love both. Story wise, "them" is a brilliant piece of work that I want to someday make into a film (if I ever take another film class). But man, the classics are brilliant too. And even 'the puppet master' rocks out.
But I love all KD albums. The one that gets played the least for me, is "Voodoo".

I've been a king fan since i heard "Melissa" back in the good ole 80's. "Don't break the oath" is still one of my favs to this day!
"Magic circles drawn after midnight around graves to be opened" That line still sends chills down my spine ;D

just got back from the Chicago House of Blues after seeing King Diamond. They fucking rocked as usual... some nice tunage added to the set list (namely some old MF tunes). Aside from the speakers on Andy's side shorting out often, it was a great show. They were on their game as usual. Now I go sleepy...

Finally, a thread about King Diamond. I personally love King Diamond's work, and am extremely proud to be called a Diamondbanger. King Diamond's live album is by far one of my most favorite of all time, and my favorite song is and always will be "Sleepless Nights." It's just a solid song that shows what KD is capable of ;D
