Redemption was the primary reason why I attended PP07 this weekend. They were the only truly Prog band on the line-up so unfortunately many didn't go initially to see them.
I got to get about 4 people away from the stage due to most people attending this festival for Power Metal!!! They grabbed and held the attention of many not long after they started and the floor packed.
Nick - did a great job as the driving force on guitar Bernie - was tremendous on 2nd guitar which fierce solos Chris - was absolutely impressive and fun to listen to (personally I found his live work to be even more interesting and compelling than Mike Portnoy's work live the 4 times that I've seen him live and I'm a huge Portnoy fan that he hasn't been dissapointed by him live) Sean produced some serious funky bass Ray did a real good job and even though his voice wasn't as crisp and clear as it is on Redemption cds his effort and inflection made up for it.
Overall it was a fun, exciting and musically interesting set that left me wanting to hear more from the band in the future on cd and live. I've seen 100+ bands live and I'd have to instantly put them in the top 10 performances I've seen. If you can make it see them live do it at all costs. If you don't have their cds and only have heard samples online then just buy them already. Thanks again for the great performance

Pagan's Mind and Primal Fear were amazing! The All Star Jam at the end was great as well. I'll give a more full review someday.
