I actually switched parties (from Independent) to vote for him in the FL primaries later this month.
After I read about the fascist tactics of Codex Alimentarius (UN functionary) who plans to poison our food, including dictating what we can grow in our own backyards (disturbing videos about Codex here: http://www.healthfreedomusa.org), the Natural Solutions Foundation sent questions out to all the candidates asking them what their platform was on health freedom.
Only Ron Paul actually answered them. I will assume the others do not think it is important, or simply have no idea about Codex. Thus, Ron Paul will get my vote.
as you all were
Ian
NSF: If elected, what steps do you pledge to take to end these HARMonization activities of the FDA, USDA, FTC and EPA?
Ron Paul: "I will seek to stop U.S. participation in the Codex process and make it clear to the United Nations and the World Trade Organization that my administration will not change one comma in American law to make the bureaucrats at Codex happy."
NSF: do you support a division of the FDA into two separate agencies?
Ron Paul: No, I favor reducing the power of the FDA, not "rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic" by dividing the FDA bureaucracy.

Come on, Ben. You're smarter than that. The New Republic is in bed with the Council on Foreign Relations (they share members quite often) and the CFR is usually the surefire way for politicians to get into office. Paul's foreign policy would make the CFR and their secretive meetings useless.
Oh yeah ... Paul's the only candidate who's not a member of the CFR. Go figure ...
This was old news that was refuted years ago. A refutation in the present moment, you ask? Thank you, Mr. Blitzer:

An interesting comment on that page is the one about the Civil Rights legislation below. Very eye opening.

I saw the stuff on 'the Ron paul letters' or whatever, I assume that's what you linked to, i didn't look.
Too bad much of that contradicts a site like ontheissues.org or whatever where you can look up voting records. I find it alarming to a degree that he would allow someone to use his name as such, however that doesn't mean he's racist.

Yeah, that racist charge just doesn't hold water.

Hmm, am I the only one who thinks Hillary Clinton looks like a female version of Mickey Mouse? DidnĀ“t he have a wife? I wonder how Hillary would react if I offered her my tounge. The question is: would I make such an suggestion, Mickey Mouse wife was attractive so who knows: i guess it all depends on how much she looks like Mickeys wife, and how wild my imagination is running at the given time.

Ron Paul is the only one running that I actually believe in. He was to get rid of the Federal reserve which if you don't know anything about is basically outsourcing the control of our money support and interest rates to a private company. So when you think of "government" then "fed" over that. Then you'll realize some fucked up things going on. Ron Paul believes in liberty and limited government involvement in your life as well as our government having limited involvement with other countries self inflicted problems. Think about this, how is a 2 party system a party? That is Not a "Party" that is a Couple! Both members of this Couple don't know how to balance a check book.
