Ok, for a long time things have been against me. I am one who can never find what it is that he wants, and when I do...I can't get it. Well this time I fuckin found it. There are cartoons from the 80's that I've looked for and couldn't find, and then there were ones that I remembered and couldn't find their names. Well my lucky ass today found them. There was one for sure called Ulysses 31. I have looked for that one for so long, but I couldn't remember the name. I remember the main character looked like your everyday picture of Jesus LOL. And I remember my mom asked me almost every saturday about it LOL. But anyway I found it and a bunch of others. www.80scartoons.netSo if you are interested in finding out about cartoons you grew up on THERE YOU GO. Also I found a site that hosts a bunch of wav files of a lot of those cartoons. It's called www.soundamerica.comI've been looking for an mp3 of the ending theme for the Highlander cartoon and found a fuckin wav file for it, so I'm happy. So here is to the shit that has held me back from things I enjoy, and here is to all the things that didn't want me to find it. All those things can kiss my ass, because I have now found 90% of what I was looking for, and I am totally happy and greatful that I did. Vegeta

Rich I picked up the Transformers movie last year and I LOVED it. I loved it with such passion still. LOL.
I still haven't grown out of it.
And know I haven't checked out that site with the stuff on it. I'll do that right now.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the old transformers (cartoons and movie), but maybe now I'm more analytical towards the actual animation, storyline, etc.
There's this old animated movie I've been dying to get, but can't find ANYWHERE! "Starchaser: The Legend of Orin" Was considered an "adult" animated movie at the time (some swearing, and some guts), and it had some 3D thing going on too. Anywho...
You tried the transformers game for ps2? It's actually pretty fucking good! It's been a while since I've played it, but they did the transformers name justice.

No, I never played it at all. The only transformers game I played was a Japanese game that never made it here to the states. You played as Optimus Prime...and I must say it had to be the hardest Nintendo game I have ever played next to Mad Max....

The Transformers movie was GREAT! The last time I watched it as a kid was about Spring of 1987, when I rented it. (Saw it the day it came out in the movies the previous August)
I hadn't watched it until this past June, when a friend of mine had the DVD and let me borrow it. What memories. Of course, it was also the curse of the cartoon, as it never gained the popularity of the early seasons because their best characters got blown to bits in the movie.
And I heard bits from the Soundtrack, and that was fairly cool too. It had a quasi 70's progressive feel to it (which is explained in the DVD under the interview with the guy who wrote the score to it)
Great topic ... I think I'm going to watch that movie again.

I never knew they made a cartoon out of the California Raisins! The Motown Raisins lived in an apartment above their studio...LMAO!
