Wednesday, October 11, 2006 The masters are here! The masters are here! Current mood: relieved Well after an exciting six week adventure with the German and US Postal Services, I can at long last confirm that I have the master recordings of The Origins of Ruin in my possession. They sound terrific -- they are cleaner and heavier than The Fullness of Time with greater dynamic range and a much beefier low end. This is due to a number of factors, most importantly the early involvement of Tommy this time 'round, as well as the good people at Sennheiser setting us up with some phenomenal gear for mic'ing the drums, and the use of some killer amplification from Brunetti. We are now working on lining up European and Japanese distribution; our plans are to release everything in February / March 2007, with the US release through our good friends at Sensory Records. I know it seems like a long way off -- believe me, we're very impatient ourselves and we want to get this out more than anybody! There should be more news in the next couple of weeks, including artwork and some other surprises, so check back. As always, thanks for your interest and support! blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=56244027&blogID=179112996Oh man! February/March is WAY too long, but it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. I really want to hear this. -Kerrick

Yeah, looking forward to it too...sounds like a good follow up just from the descriptions. It is a bit of a ways off though... #waiting#

I can vouch for the quality of at least three songs, having heard them in a private broadcast talking with Nick . .

Oh yeah? Lucky! How would you describe them compared to "The Fullness of Time?" -Kerrick
