First off... have I told you that you all kick ass lately?
Okay... typed up a few of my *rough* guidelines. These will eventually be imported into a sticky thread and incorporated into the registration agreement. ALSO... including the age clause in both. As of now, there is really *no* way to be 100% sure of a user's age, and an age input redirect is not an available option. Just feel the need to cover my arse in the event that some young pup decides to visit and have his mom pop in at the wrong second (hate it when that happens! lmao)...
Will definitely be revising and adding to this, but wanted you all to see the general *feel* for what I'm going for. Lend me your thoughts after reading, please....
General Forum Guidelines
Signatures:
Please keep in mind that no one likes to be inundated with HUGE signatures. Not only do they make reading the forums more difficult, they use up bandwidth and try patience...
As a general guideline, we would like to see image dimensions used in signatures stay below 500W x 200H... Please keep text to a mininum, meaning please don't include a transcription of your favorite passage of your favorite novel...
Also, as a general guideline, we ask that images used for Signatures not include any type of blatantly defamatory, obscene or pornographic images. (Common sense here, people.) In the event that such imagery is used for Signatures, the member will be requested to update their profile. Those that do not update their profiles may find their posting priveleges suspended until an update has been made.
Avatars:
Default dimensions for Avatars are set to 65W X 65H. Maximum Avatar dimensions are 100W X 100H. In the event that a user attempts to adjust the settings to anything larger than the maximum allowed size, the image will automatically be resized to the default size (65 X 65). Images do not need to be square, just remember to keep the proportions accurate. If you need help with this, please contact the Moderator for assistance.

Spamming:
Spamming will absolutely not be tolerated. Posting privileges will be suspended upon first instance of spamming (this is hoping that the incident was unintentional). Second instance will result in the user being permanently banned from using the forum.
Language and Images:
We have no censoring in place. Free speech in this forum is of the utmost importance to the members who post here. We would like to keep it that way.
As a general guideline... (again, common sense, people.)
Following is a list of what is not considered acceptable.
Blatant threats against persons, their family and/or friends and/or property
Statements to incite hate or violence
The release of personal information without the owner's consent (including internet related information)
Direct display of pornographic and/or obscene images. If you absolutely HAVE to show someone something, post a link to the image with a warning as to the content (i.e. ADULT material here...).
